Hatta Sports Club held various successful events as part of the football companies’ week, which was organised under the supervision of the Dubai Sports Council.

The aim was to improve the organisational, technical, and social skills of football companies in Dubai clubs.

The first day of the event included a grassroots festival that was held for male students aged 8 and 9 years from Hatta schools for boys. The second day’s activities included the same festival but for female students from Hatta schools for girls. Furthermore, a workshop was held at the DSC’s premises by John Williams, the Sports Manager of Amiens Club of France, and Rashid Aamir, the Sports Manager of Hatta Football Company.

Today, Hatta Club organised a lecture at its premises that focused on the Importance of Professionalism for Football Academies’ Talents. The events of Hatta Football Companies’ Week will end on Friday, 17th February, with an open sports day that will include the participation of Hatta Club’s staff and workers.

Shabab Al-Ahli Football Company will host the events of the programme from 20th to 26th February, while Al-Wasl Football Company’s events are scheduled from 27th February to 5th March.

Al-Nasr Football Company organised the first week’s events, and they collaborated with Hemaya Schools. The first football team’s players participated in the sports activities, and competitions, cultural, sports, and entertainment activities were held for players and administrators from all Dubai clubs.

Several lectures were given during the week, and they covered various topics such as the features of sports professionalism contracts, amendments in the secondment contracts, football companies’ sponsors and partnership outputs, and partnerships with community entities on the company’s social responsibility. The last day witnessed interactive training for press conferences before and after matches, as well as brainstorming sessions.

The football companies’ week is part of the DSC’s strategic plan to attain excellence and sports achievements by developing the abilities of Dubai sports clubs’ players and administrators. The events will last for a month, and each football company will host various events throughout the week.

The DSC will continue to organise programmes and initiatives in collaboration with various governmental and private sports entities to develop the sports sector, particularly in the grassroots category for multiple sports. They are considered future champions who will represent the homeland in various fields. Some of the prominent championships currently are the Dubai Open Football Academies Tournament, Dubai Open Basketball Academies Tournament, Dubai Grassroots Football Festival – U-8, and Dubai Intercontinental Cup U-13.
