Naoya Inoue and Nonito Donaire will go to war again in their eagerly anticipated bantamweight world title rematch on Tuesday.
In November 2019, the two fought out a Fight of the Year classic at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan, with Inoue extending his undefeated record after being given the fight of his life against Donaire to unify the IBF and WBA belts.
The bantamweight knockout king has since gone from strength so strength, adding three more knockouts to his record to solidify his status as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters on the planet.
The evergreen Donaire immediately bounced back to become the oldest world champion at 118lbs when he beat Nordine Oubaali last May.
The 39-year-old brings the WBC strap to the table this week and he seeks revenge against the man they call ‘The Monster’.
