Olivia Frazer came under fire recently for leaking a naked snap of co-star Domenica Calarco on Married At First Sight Australia.
Two investigations into behaviour on the show have since been launched, after a petition for action to be taken against Olivia received thousands of signatures from viewers.
However, another bride has now come out and blamed producers of the show for the scandal.
Tamara Djordjevic defended the cast, claiming the nude photo was ‘sprung’ on them.
Tamara spoke to Hit Network’s Jimmy and Nath show about the drama from the dinner party, explaining what really went on.
Initially, host Jimmy proposed the idea that the beef was fuelled by producers.
He said: ‘They showed that footage of the producer going hard, saying, “There’s a photo, what’s the photo,” and you seemed uncomfortable to even talk about it.
‘I felt that whole thing was sort of made from the producers like they were pushing so hard to make that happen.’
Tamara agreed, replying: ‘Definitely. I don’t think anyone would have spoken about it if the producers hadn’t asked us.’
She continued: ‘And then obviously they turned the narrative around to be, “Everyone’s a bad guy because they’re talking about it,” when no one was.’
‘Honestly, it was sprung on all of us. And when we do those voxies – those little interviews before we go to the dinner – we’re all alone, so we don’t have a chance to go and talk to each other, we have our phones taken off us, we’re in our room, we don’t get to see each other until we get to the dinner,’ she added.
The reality star also had notes for producers of future seasons of the popular dating show, encouraging them to ‘be more honest’ because she found producers on her season were ‘not honest at all.’
‘I just wish they’d told us what storyline they were going with for us, so we could at least understand what character to get into,’ she laughed.
Investigations into the leaked nude are ongoing, after Olivia’s actions were likened to ‘revenge porn’ by viewers.
Another investigation has also been launched into a glass being smashed by Domenica.
The bride has since claimed Olivia’s behaviour felt like ‘a malicious attack,’ however, Olivia argues that she is pro-sexual content and self expression, revealing she used to work in a lingerie store and is not ‘judging’ Domenica.
Channel 4 has been contacted for comment.
