Liza Minnelli has been spotted leaving dinner with her friend, actor George Hamilton, in a wheelchair.

The singer and actor, best known for her role in Cabaret, which recently turned 50, was helped out of her wheelchair into a car.

Rocking an all-black look, Liza looked as glamorous as ever following the meal at Il Piccolo restaurant in West Hollywood.

Actor George, 82, looked suave in a navy suit jacket, as he escorted Liza to her car.

Liza has been open about her health struggles in the past and has overcome an incredible amount.

In 2000, she survived a rare case of viral encephalitis, with doctors telling her she wouldn’t walk or talk again.

‘I couldn’t walk and I couldn’t talk, and they told me I wouldn’t… ever again. After I was told that, everybody left the room and I turned my face to the wall and started to go “A – B – C,”‘ she later told NBC’s Dateline.

‘You know, that’s what it felt like because I had Carnegie Hall to rehearse. I want to live. I have always wanted to live.’

Fans have most recently been celebrating Liza and her Cabaret co-stars, with the film turning 50 last month.

Directed by dance legend Bob Fosse and starring Liza alongside Michael York and Joel Grey, the film was sensational then and now, winning eight Academy Awards in the year of release.

In fact, it still holds the record for the most Oscars without winning best picture, after landing accolades including best leading actress, best supporting actor, best director, and best cinematography.

Liza shot to superstardom after playing Sally Bowles in the film, and hasn’t looked back.
