Pre-registering will not only let you be among the first to play Apex Legends Mobile, but you’ll get unique cosmetics too.

There has been talk of Apex Legends coming to mobile devices for a few years now, and now Respawn is finally ready to launch it this summer.

An exact release date hasn’t been narrowed down but Respawn is hoping for a full launch. Assuming there are no delays, it could happen anywhere from June to August.

Respawn is confident it’ll have it out by then, since pre-registration is available worldwide on both the Google Play store and Apple’s app store. Well, almost worldwide.

China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau are excluded, although the official website suggests this will change. Respawn adds that the game will not be available in Russia or Belarus. It doesn’t say why, but the reasons should be obvious.

By pre-registering, you’ll be informed of when Apex Legends Mobile will become available in your region. As further incentive, anyone who pre-registers will receive exclusive cosmetics at certain player sign-up milestones throughout the coming months.

At the time of writing, over 7 million people have pre-registered, which has unlocked all but one of the listed rewards. The only one left is a new skin for one of the playable characters, Bloodhound, which requires a whopping 10 million pre-registrations.

While it will otherwise play exactly like the console and PC versions, Apex Legends Mobile has been designed from the ground-up. As such, it will boast unique maps and gameplay modes, as well as ‘streamlined controls and thoughtful optimisations.’

This also means Apex Legends Mobile is technically a separate game so there will be no cross-play functionality with the console and PC versions, i.e. mobile players can only play with other mobile players.
