Rolling Stones fans are utterly convinced the legendary band are set to rock out at British Summer Time Hyde Park festival this summer.

The London festival already has some major names playing in the iconic venue this June and July, and the line-up could be about get even bigger, as it looks like Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards could be taking to the stage

While it has not yet been confirmed, an apparent mistake from staffing website Festaff asking for volunteers to work at the festival appeared to announce the Stones would be headlining the event.

In the now-removed post, seen by the Daily Mail, the website called for volunteers to work on Saturday, 25 June, a day where no headline act has so far been announced.

They stated the event volunteers would be staffing was ‘BST: 2022 Rolling Stones 1’.

The apparent accidental reveal sent the rumour mill, understandably, into overdrive, with fans buzzing at the prospect at seeing the legendary band perform at BST for the first time since 2013.

The gig would represent the Stones’ first UK gig since the death of founding member Charlie Watts, who died last year at the age of 80.

It would also mark 60 years of the band being together, having foemd by Jagger, Watts, Richards, and former members Brian Jones and Bill Wyman.

Even aside from the potential Rolling Stones gig, this year’s BST is absolutely choc-full of massive acts set to perform.

Sir Elton John will play his final London tour date at the Hyde Park festival on June 24, as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.

The Eagles will rock out on the Sunday, meaning, should they be confirmed, Rolling Stones will sit between the two massive gigs.

Pearl Jam will also play consecutive shows on Friday July 8 and Saturday 9, with special guests Pixies supporting Friday’s show.

Duran Duran will then perform on Sunday July 10 alongside Nile Rodgers and Chic and Grace Jones.

Plus, Adele has announced her live UK comeback with not one, but two Hyde Park gigs on July 1 and 2, marking first live UK shows since 2017.
