The Loose Women ladies were told to ‘behave’ after going a bit too far with their group hug for Stacey Solomon’s return.

The 32-year-old star was back on the panel Kaye Adams, Judi Love and Nadia Sawalha for her long-awaited comeback five months after giving birth to baby Rose, and the quartet wasted no time in coming together for a big cuddle.

The four stars excitedly caught up on camera as they swarmed Stacey, before Kaye admitted producers were having a word in her ear.

She giggled: ‘We’ve just been told to behave ourselves. We were supposed to have a tiny little hug and we overdid it there!’

No one really seemed to mind though, as she quickly added: ‘It’s lovely to have you back Stacey, it really is.’

The former I’m A Celebrity winner – who was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2010 – admitted she’d been watching the ITV daytime show during her maternity leave thinking of her comeback.

‘I’ve missed you all so much. I’ve loved being at home in a little fuzzy baby bubble,’ she said. ‘But there are definitely so many days where I tuned in, “I wanna be there!” ‘

During her time away, Stacey – who was joined by baby Rose later in the show – has often keeps fans updated on life at home with her family, including her sons Rex, Zachary and Leighton, and Harry, Joe’s son from a previous relationship.

She opened up about her home birth on Friday’s episode, and explained how she ‘felt so calm and relaxed’ compared to her previous experiences.

‘I honestly think it really don’t matter where you give birth, under what circumstances. It is what it is,’ she shrugged. ‘I’ve never felt so calm and relaxed. I’ve always associated birth with trauma and I always feel really scared when I go into labour.

‘Being in hospital almost confirms that fear… I didn’t think I would ever have a feeling of being safe at home until I gave birth to Rose. I didn’t just feel safe, I felt in control.’

Meanwhile, Stacey will also be back on screen again very soon on another broadcaster, after landing a role as a presenter of Bake Off: The Professionals on Channel 4 to take over from comedian Tom Allen, and co-host alongside former GBBO contestant Liam Charles, who also judges Junior Bake Off.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
