Netflix has clearly become a big part of our lives (trust our dark circles!) especially during the lockdown and as the platform continues to be the biggest streaming service with over 208 million subscribers, here’s what everyone’s been loving!

  1. Squid Game

You’re probably living under a rock if you haven’t heard about Squid Game, a Korean survival drama that took the world by storm. The series has over 142M views on Netflix and has become a global phenomenon introducing the world to Korean culture like never before. The series has been renewed for season 2 and we just can’t wait for the new season to come out.

  1. League Of Legends: Arcane

Arcane has turned out to be one of the biggest Netflix launches this year, giving Squid Game a hard time retaining its position at number 1. The animated series, based on the massively popular multiplayer game, has become the talk of the town as it debuts with 130M views in China alone.

  1. Bridgerton

Before Squid Game took over, Bridgerton held the record of being the most viewed Netflix series with over 82M views and a nomination for the Emmy Awards. The series was based on Juliana Quinn’s best-selling novel series and is also gearing up for a second season.

  1. The Witcher

Sci-fi fantasy, haunted forests and everyone’s favourite Henry Cavil, what’s not to like? The Witcher garnered over 76M views on Netflix and has already been renewed for a third season.

  1. Money Heist

Entering its final season, Money Heist – the hit Spanish series La Casa de Papel, had over 69M views. As we wait for the second part of season 5 at the same time we wonder what we’ll do once the series comes to an end because Money Heist is the most addictive show.
