In an interview, Ali Abbas, who is now riding high on the popularity of his latest drama Wafa Bemol, spoke candidly about competing with international celebrities.

The Fitrat actor, Ali Abbas remarked that he has learned through the years that it is important to be aware of one’s own skills and flaws. Artists should be aware that they must improve their weaknesses while maintaining their strengths.

He stated that while he may not be able to match in terms of looks with Fawad Khan, he can compete in terms of acting abilities.

When it comes to acting talents, the Dour actor claimed that he can even compete with Mission: Impossible star Tom Cruise.

Ahmad had a superb performance in Parizaad, according to the Mere Apnay star, and it makes him pleased that underappreciated actors like him are now earning significant roles in mainstream productions.

He went on to say that there was talk about him being left out of Ehd-e-Wafa, which had greater personalities like Ahad Raza Mir and Osman Khalid Butt alongside him.

After graduating in law and working in a law office, Abbas changed careers to become a television producer before he moved into the family tradition of acting. His father, actor Waseem Abbas, strongly opposed his desire to become an actor, and he decided to work hard on it (losing a lot of weight for his characters) while trying to not capitalize on his famous name.
