Blackpink star Jennie has revolutionised the Chanel brand since she joined as a brand ambassador.
Now, less than a year after she started repping the brand to her over 55million social media followers, the fashion label has given her a new gig.
Jennie was just announced as the new face of the Coco Crush jewellery line.
Alongside the announcement, Chanel shared a black and white snap of the K-pop star wearing 10 of the line’s rings.
The sleek portrait screamed French glamour as Jennie was immortalised with her hair in a messy updo wearing only some sleek black eyeliner.
With this new job, the 25-year-old has taken up nothing short of a starring role at the fashion house, as fans already started nicknaming her Coco Jennie.
On her Instagram, she is dedicated to wearing the double Cs in almost every outfit and she pulls it off effortlessly every time without fail.
In her shorts, she often gives a punkish twist to some of Chanel’s iconic accessories, often paired with streetwear, giving the century-old brand a youthful and fresh look.
Nowhere was this clearer than during last month’s Chanel Paris fashion show.
Jennie stole the show with her modern tribute to the fashion designer in the form of a red bouclé crop top and matching mini skirt.
She accessorised the look with pearls around her neck and waist with two sparkling double C’s and an iconic red Chanel handbag.
