Judi Love has confirmed that she is returning to Strictly Come Dancing 2021 after testing positive for Covid-19 and we couldn’t be happier!

Last week, Judi was forced to miss the competition with her professional partner Graziano Di Prima after contracting coronavirus.

Thankfully, the tides are turning and the Loose Women star is in the clear as she and Graz prepare to make their comeback on the dancefloor.

In a video posted by Graziano on Instagram on Friday, the pair could be seen next to each other as they shared their excitement over being reunited.

‘Hey guys. Finally we are back together! Are you ready for tomorrow?’ Graziano said enthusiastically.

‘Yes, I am!’ Judi said, appearing raring to go as the couple take on Halloween Week.

As the dancing partners embraced, Graziano expressed how much he had missed Judi, as she replied: ‘I missed my baby, my dancing partner, but we’re back!’

‘Are you ready for us?’ the professional dancer then asked his followers. We sure are!

Judi also posted about their return on Instagram, sharing a selfie of her and Graziano in the studio and writing: ‘See you tomorrow @bbcstrictly.’

On tonight’s It Takes Two, host Rylan Clark-Neal spoke to Judi about how she’s doing since coming out of isolation.

Judi said she’s missed being on Strictly ‘so much’, adding: ‘I’m so happy to be back.’

She revealed that she and Graziano are going to be bringing a spooky spin on the 1980s with their new routine.

The comedian added that she’s looked back on the feedback she’s received from the judges, explaining that she’s going to deliver ‘technique’ and all the ‘entertainment’.

Earlier this week, Judi gave an update on her Covid recovery, revealing that she couldn’t smell or taste.

In a video shared on social media, she stressed that ‘Rona is real’, stating: ‘I give thanks that I was doing the exercise and dancing thing,’ she said. ‘I feel like I’m handling much better than I would have had if I hadn’t been doing the exercise and the sweat.’

She continued, saying: ‘I just want to say to you I’m here. It’s been a rough couple of days and it’s really about for you to get your health in order. Health is wealth and I’m not just talking about cashing that cheque.’

Strictly Come Dancing returns this Saturday at 7.10pm on BBC One.
