A 25-year-old Pakistan Army sepoy was martyred after terrorists fired on a security forces post in North Waziristan, said the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement on Monday.
The military’s media wing said that terrorists had fired on a security forces post in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan.
The ISPR said that the troops initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location.
“During intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Saifullah (age 25 years, resident of Karak) embraced shahadat,” said the ISPR. Area clearance is being carried out to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area, it added.
