This Morning viewers were left stunned as the first segment in Wednesday’s show was about a couple who make their living by streaming their sex life online.

Kayla and Jack, who met when she was working in a Subway sandwich shop, turned to adult webcam work and are now earning £100 an hour by streaming themselves having sex online.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby had many questions for the pair, who explained that they try and keep their online relationship separate from their own life off-camera.

Jack explained: ‘I think we try to keep it separate from our own sex life. Obviously we are using our alter-egos when we go on there, I am Trey and she is Foxy Red, and we try and keep that separate from where we stand in the relationship.

‘We go into work as [them] but when we come out we are simply Kayla and Jack again.’

Holly asked Kayla whether having sex as a day job means they struggle to be romantic when they are off the clock, to which she explained: ‘Romantic [sex] just happens in the moment, when we are chilling.’

Jack added: ‘Sex is work but when we are with each other, we know that when it’s just me and Kayla, I can devote 100% of my attention to her and she can devote 100% of her attention to me.’

Discussing whether they can work if they are having an argument or not getting on, Kayla said: ‘The good thing about it is that we can switch on and off.’

Jack added: ‘Obviously if you were in that bad a situation, you wouldn’t answer the call, you only do what you feel comfortable with doing.’

The couple admitted their families had had mixed reactions to their unconventional career choice, but ended up finding out about it as the couple are featured in Channel 4 documentary Sex, Actually with Alice Levine and Louis Theroux.

Viewers were confused at the segment being shown first thing in the show, tweeting: ‘So they dived straight in with the weird segment’ and ‘The couple who stream their sex life.. I- it’s 10:10 it’s too early for this pls.’

Others added: ‘Watching #ThisMorning and they’re interviewing a couple that makes a £100 an hour filming their sex life. They make like £200k a year’ and ‘“It’s a private thing” Says the woman on This Morning, who stars in a channel 4 documentary having sex live on the internet for £100 an hour.’

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
