Visitors to the 12 th edition of the Sharjah Children\u2019s Reading Festival (SCRF) were completely smitten by
the \u2018Book of Dreams\u2019 show staged on Thursday evening. Produced by Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), the
play is for all age groups and highlights the value of books and the impact of reading on changing realities
and fulfilling dreams and aspirations.
Translating the festival\u2019s theme \u2018For Your Imagination\u2019, the performance ignited the imagination,
particularly of the young audience, and underscored book\u2019s role in achieving goals and dreams. The
actors took the audience on a joyful journey of lyrical narrative and expressive acting.
Starring Hiba Al Darri, Mohammed Al Muslim, Nasser Abbas, Fahad Al Saleh, Dima Ahmed, Ghrour
Safar, Jana Al Failkawi and Ahmed bin Hussein, this 90-minute play follows a young girl who participates
in various competitions to win books to fill her library with quality books. On this journey, she gets her
