Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid has showed off her stylish new haircut, and she seems to have taken a leaf out of Jennifer Aniston’s book.
The breakfast TV host took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal her new look.
In a selfie, the 51-year-old star’s brunette locks were noticeably shorter than usual, sitting just above her shoulder.
The new do looked decidely similar to actress Jennifer’s iconic cut known as ‘The Rachel’, which was famously named after her character in the hit 90s comedy, Friends.
In the caption of the snap, Susanna, who is known for her glossy brown hair, thanked her hairdresser for her ‘fresh trim’.
The image also showed that the new style had shorter layers at the front with a choppy look of brown and caramel going into the back, with a few blonde streaks to lighten her locks in time for the spring weather.
Her fans and celebrity pals were quick to hit the comment section to pile on the praise.
Fellow ITV presenter Lorraine Kelly, who recently told the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to ‘keep smiling’ as they faced protests in the Caribbean this week, kept it short and sweet, writing: ‘Beautiful’, while socialite Lizzie Cundy commented: ‘Fabulous hair darling.’
Presenter Steph McGovern of Steph’s Packed Lunch added: ‘Ooh I love that cut.’
Meanwhile, Susanna’s colleague Ben Shephard liked the post along with celebrity chef Tom Kerridge and presenter Emily Atack.
One fan wrote: ‘You look incredible! I may just have to steal this look,’ as another said: ‘TOO CUTE. I love the colours.’
The TV host, who is mother to sons Jack, 16, Finn, 18, and Sam, 19, who she shares with her ex Dominic Cotton, has gone for the big chop previously.
In April 2021, she revealed she had four inches cut off, tagging the hairdresser who transformed her hair, who was Richard Ward, the Duchess of Cambridge’s hair stylist.
In 2019, she spoke about her beauty routine to the Daily Mail, describing her hair as her ‘armour’ as she admitted that she wouldn’t want to go on air without it looking perfect.
The mother-of-three explained: ‘Make-up gives me a mask to help me do my job. I also have a weekly spray tan and dye my roots fortnightly.
‘It’s a case of faking it to make it, and I’m ok with that. I’m all for making ourselves look good – as long as we feel good too.’
