Peaky Blinders fans have gone wild for Stephen Graham’s appearance in the latest episode of season six.
Stephen made a guest appearance in the gripping flat-capped, Birmingham-set period drama, sending us all into meltdown.
In what has been described as this season’s ‘stand out episode so far’, he arrived on the scene as docker and union man Hayden Stagg.
The Line of Duty star kicked off his stint on the show by stating: ‘My name’s Hayden Stagg. I hear there’s some men from Birmingham looking for me.’
Many fans took to social media to express their excitement at the scenes, heaping praise on his performance.
Eager fans expressed how they thought that ‘Stephen Graham is always a win’.
Others added that ‘Stephen Graham is in it now. So that’s a bonus’ – in case we needed one.
‘Wasn’t expecting Stephen Graham to show up but what a legend,’ a fan enthused.
Speaking about Stephen’s arrival, creator Steven Knight said fans might be surprised by the scenes.
‘I hope they’ll be surprised. What I can say, he’s from Liverpool, he told Radio Times.
‘He’s speaking in his own accent, which I think Stephen enjoyed.’
Elsewhere in the episode, Tommy went on a quest to figure out exactly who placed a curse on his family.
‘While Ada took charge in Birmingham, and Arthur rounded up some new recruits.
