Adele was surrounded by a star-studded audience for her eagerly-awaited US special, One Night Only, including Kris Jenner and Leonardo DiCaprio.
The Easy On me singer, 33, performed some of her biggest hits as well as tracks from her new album, 30, for the lucky audience at the Griffith Observatory, while also having a sit-down chat with Oprah Winfrey.
While tickets for her upcoming concerts in London are like gold dust, A-Listers clearly don’t seem to have the same problems – as the crowd for her performance was like a who’s who of Hollywood.
Momager Kris was joined by boyfriend Corey Gamble and pal Ellen DeGeneres as they watched the Oscar winner belt out her impressive back catalogue.
Nicole Richie, James Corden, Aaron Paul and Seth Rogen were dotted around the seats, while Selena Gomez, Drake and Gordon Ramsay also managed to get their hands on a coveted pass.
Adele halted proceedings at one point to give Lizzo a shout-out, with the camera later panning across to the Truth Hurts singer singing along to Hello with Oprah and Melissa McCarthy.
Can someone add us to that guest list next time, please?
Fans watching on from home couldn’t get enough of the celeb-spotting and flocked to Twitter to discuss the swanky audience.
‘My favourite thing rn is finding all the celebs in the audience at Adele’s special. I swear I just saw Leo in a baseball cap [sic],’ a viewer commented.
‘Was that Drake? Drake, Selena so many celebs at the audience #Adele #Adele30 #AdeleOneNightOnly,’ another questioned.
‘It’s Adele having all these celebs in the crowd for me. A flex. #Adele30,’ one agreed.
A follower said: ‘Not only has #Adele pulled the celebs for her TV special – Leo! Selena! Lizzo! Seth Rogen! James Corden! Melissa McCarthy! Ellen! Tyler Perry! Molly Shannon! Gordon Ramsay! Oprah! & more are all in seats at the Griffith Observatory – but who art directed that sunset? #Adele30.’
A Twitter user added: ‘The A-list celebs in the audience are literally losing their minds and I don’t blame them #AdeleOneNightOnly #adele.’
Honestly, hard same.
As much as they were all loving it, the night was even more special for couple Quentin and Ashley, who became engaged at the concert thanks to a helping hand from Adele herself.
The Someone Like You star helped orchestrate an extra-special surprise for Ashley, who was led into the venue with wearing a blindfold.
When she removed it and realised the company she was in, she couldn’t quite believe her eyes, with the scenes becoming more iconic when Quentin got down on one knee.
‘There’s absolutely nothing that you cannot do, and I know you’re going to be an amazing mother to our kids one day. And I love you, I love you, I love you and I will continue to love you forever,’ he said.
‘Ashley, this has been a long time coming … Will you marry me?’
As she said yes and they embraced, Adele got the last word in before dedicated her next son, Make You Feel My Love, to the lovebirds.
She joked: ‘Thank god you said yes, because I didn’t know who I was going to have to sing this song to next.’
No other proposal will ever be topped.
