Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause has opened up about her bombshell romance with boss Jason Oppenheim.
The pair – who star in the Netflix reality series – made their relationship public earlier this year, sharing loved-up snaps on Instagram.
The pictures sent us all into meltdown, making the excitement for season four even more palpable.
Ahead of the new episodes, Chrishell admitted that the reveal came out earlier than planned, because she didn’t want it leaked from anywhere else.
‘We announced [the relationship] a little earlier than I would’ve liked to, because I felt like we were about to be outed by paparazzi photos,’ she told Cosmopolitan UK.
‘But I didn’t want people to think it was a mistake or they’d “caught us” doing something – I wanted to be able to hold my boyfriend’s hand at dinner.’
Chrishell’s divorce from Justin Hartley was the focus of much of series three, with the luxury agent dealing with the fall-out in front of cameras.
Before the season dropped on Netflix, she assumed that she would be ‘humiliated’ with the scenes, but found that it was actually the opposite.
‘I thought it was going to be a public humiliation. But it actually had the opposite effect – it gave my pain a purpose,’ she added. ‘Now, I feel fearless. I can’t think of anything worse to have to do on television, so from here, it’s all up.
‘Any kind of drama I have with the girls… nothing will get to [that] place. If I can get through that, I can get through anything.’
However, while a new romance has blossomed in Chrishell’s life, we won’t be seeing it unfold just yet.
In fact, co-star Mary Fitzgerald told Metro.co.uk that viewers will have to wait until season five for a glimpse at their budding relationship.
‘Well, you’re definitely going to see a relationship divide, that you wouldn’t expect and things that have happened where it’s just shocking,’ she said.
‘Without giving away too much, it’s hard to, it’s hard to say to explain it but it’s gonna be pretty shocking to see some of the things that have happened.
‘I think Jason and Chrishell came out with their relationship in between season four and five.
‘So, you won’t see that on season four, but you will in season five.’
Hopefully Netflix drop that ASAP.
Selling Sunset returns to Netflix later this year.
