Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi clarified on Thursday that none of his daughters are on social media.
“I would like to clarify that none of my daughters have any social media accounts; please disregard any ‘accounts’ or ‘news’ that are associated with my daughters,” Shahid Afridi tweeted along with a screenshot of the fake account.

In the bio of the fake account, it was written, “proud to be the daughter of Boom Boom Shahid Afridi and Angel of Nadia Afridi.”
Later, the account changed its description to “Big fan of Shahid Afridi 10”. More than 5,600 people were following the account which showed Shahid Afridi standing with his daughters in the display picture, before it was suspended by Twitter.
The ex-captain has five daughters: Aqsa Afridi, Ansha Afridi, Asmara Afridi, Ajwa Afridi and Arwa Afridi.
Few days ago, a video of a Shahid Afridi’s daughter had gone viral on social media in which somebody asked her if she was daughter of the national player. To which she responded jokingly that no she was a sister of Shahid Afridi, then she corrected herself and said that yes she was a daughter of Afridi.
