Former Indian cricketers react to Pakistan’s historic 10-wicket win against India as the Men-in-Green broke the unbeaten streak of the Men-in-Blue in World Cup.

Pakistan outclassed India in their first contest of the marquee tournament on Sunday which took place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Babar Azam & Co played so well that even the former players who were initially mocking Pakistan’s record against the arch-rivals in the World Cup could not help but praise the team’s performance.

Irfan Pathan took a step further and appreciated his neighbour’s performance in the game on Saturday. He said, ‘Hamare padosi Achha khele aaj’

Ex-opening batter Virender Sehwag appreciated the effort by Pakistan team to win their first match of the contest in style.

Former right-handed batter VVS Laxman tweeted that it was very nice to see that Pakistan finally broke the jinx of losing to India in a world cups.

Harbhajan Singh, who had earlier suggested Pakistan give India a walkover, also congratulated Pakistan on the win.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh believes that their side have lost a game but they still have the capability and they will surely bounce back as the tournament progresses.

Pakistan will play their next Super 12 match against New Zealand tomorrow (Tuesday) before taking on Afghanistan on Friday.
