After being placed under judicial custody in an alleged rave party case by a special NDPS court, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has reportedly been sent to a separate cell at the Arthur Road jail.
Aryan was previously housed in the jail’s common cell, but his security has been ramped up and he has been moved to a separate barrack where he is being monitored by officials, according to reports.
Aryan is also not talking or meeting with the other suspects in the narcotics case, according to the newspaper, and is having trouble adjusting to the jail conditions. The 23-year-old is also apparently having trouble adjusting to jail meals, prompting authorities to be concerned about his health and cleanliness.
Aryan previously received a money order for Rs 4500 from his family to cover the cost of his canteen at the Arthur Road jail. Last Monday, a special NDPS court reserved its decision on Aryan’s bail application. He is required to remain in custody until October 20th, Wednesday. Aryan is still not permitted to eat any homemade food.
