Janneke Parrish, the founder of #AppleToo movement has recently been laid off by the organization. The woman was found deleting applications including Robinhood, Pokémon GO and Google Drive, during an internal investigation.

However, many employees of Apple consider this an act of retaliation by the company for leading a group of labor union.

Another employee was fired in September for allegedly leaking confidential information of the company. The employee retaliated by pressing charges against Apple for treating its workforce poorly.

After the former termination, CEO Apple, Tim Cook sent an official notice to all its employees saying “people who leak confidential information do not belong” here. Furthermore, it said the company has “everything in our power to identify those who leaked”.

In August, the #AppleToo website was launched by Parrish, to report all the harassment, bullying and discrimination incidents taking place at the workplace. All such stories were shared on the platform immediately.

Furthermore, the tech giant hasn’t made commented on the story of termination as of yet.
