Victoria Scone’s knee injury robbed us of an iconic Snatch Game on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

The 27-year-old was forced to drop out of season three after just two episodes, having injured her knee during a lip sync in episode one.

Victoria had her looks planned for every challenge, though, and has revealed EastEnders legend Danny Dyer was among her options for Snatch Game.

Speaking to Radio Times, the Cardiff queen said: ‘I had quite a few options – I will tell you one of them. One of them is probably a bit surprising, maybe, [it] would have been Danny Dyer. That was my second or third choice.

‘I wanted to do drag kinging where possible, I would have loved that.’

It would have been the second sort-of appearance for Danny, with a bizarre mannequin, ‘Mickayyy!’ inspired by the actor appearing on the panel last season after guest judge Rita Ora allegedly cancelled.

Victoria didn’t mention what her first choice would have been on Snatch Game – where the queens impersonate famous faces – but she could be keeping that under wraps for an appearance on season four.

In the past, queens forced to drop out due to illness or injury – like Eureka! in season nine of Drag Race, and Veronica Green on season two of the UK edition – have been given an open invitation by RuPaul to the following series.

However, perhaps because season four has yet to be announced by BBC Three, Ru didn’t extend this offer when he told the queens about Victoria’s departure.

The host said: ‘We will all miss Victoria very much and I have a sense that we haven’t seen the last of her. But for now, the show must go on.’

Like Eureka!, who tore her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during a cheerleading challenge, Victoria tore her ACL when she performed a knee slide during a lip sync against Krystal Versace to Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart.

She continued to compete in episode two, although could not perform choreography or walk in heels, before it was decided she must drop out following medical advice.

Victoria said: ‘It was devastating and heartbreaking.

‘It’s just the worst possible thing that could have happened but, you know, I keep on telling myself everything happens for a reason. This happened for some reason, which I would love to know!’

Victoria was the first ever cisgender female queen to compete in the Drag Race franchise.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK continues Thursday nights on BBC Three and iPlayer.
