The Wanted’s Tom Parker has revealed he and wife Kelsey are considering having another baby soon as he remains positive about his future with a brain tumour.
Tom has been open about his diagnosis and even recently reunited with his bandmates for a special charity gig at The Royal Albert Hall.
On Thursday, he appeared on This Morning with his wife Kelsey, where the pair gave further updates about his ongoing condition and teased possibly adding to his brood in the future.
He told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: ‘We’re thinking about having another one. Don’t tell anyone!’
The husband-and-wife are already parents to son Bodhi – who was born last year – and daughter Aurelia Rose, two.
They appeared on the show to speak about Tom’s upcoming documentary and about how his treatment has been going.
Ahead of the ‘Inside My Head’ programme airing on Channel 4 this weekend, the duo gave a positive outlook as they explained how Tom’s tumour had shrunk in recent months.
Tom said: ‘Medication is now every three weeks because I’ve been responding so well. So yes, positive.’
The singer had initially had to attend hospital visits on his own amid the coronavirus crisis and shared the moment he was told he had a brain tumour.
He admitted he hadn’t really wanted a prognosis, due to ‘knowing the stats’ and trying to stay positive for his family.
‘I just didn’t want to hear it,’ he said. ‘But they did say 12 months at that point, and we are way past that!’
He remained honest about how gruelling the treatment had been: ‘It’s been pretty full on. Chemo was very, very tough and Radio is probably the hardest part.’
But Tom has made clear progress with his condition and said he ‘wouldn’t have been able’ appear on the show for an interview five months ago.
‘I feel a lot more confident and a lot more in control of my emotions. If I did do this five months ago, I’d be a crying mess to be honest. I’m feeling very positive.’
Kelsey added: ‘We are always positive. Positive vibes only!’
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
