Katie Price is set to miss her son Harvey’s performance at Autism’s Got Talent after agreeing to check into The Priory following her drink-driving crash.

The former glamour model, 43, appeared in court on Wednesday after crashing her car in the early hours of Tuesday morning while under the influence of alcohol and cocaine.

She was also still disqualified from driving at the time, meaning she could face time in prison for getting behind the wheel.

Katie’s sentencing has been deferred until December to allow her to complete treatment at The Priory on the request of the judge, meaning she will be forced to miss Harvey’s performance at the talent show over the weekend.

The mother-of-five had been due to appear at the event on October 2 alongside Harvey as anti-bullying ambassador for the fundraiser, but it is believed she went straight to The Priory after court.

A source told The Sun: ‘Katie’s family and friends are desperate to get her help. They packed her bags as soon as the court hearing was over and are hoping The Priory will provide the support Katie needs to overcome her issues.’

Katie has been warned by the judge that she may face prison time for breaking the law, which could see her spending Christmas behind bars.

Chair of the bench Julie Hutton at Crawley Magistrate’s Court told her: ’We regularly send people to prison for driving whilst disqualified.’

Her sentencing was deferred until December 15 on the condition she would receive treatment at The Priory, engage with the probation service and not commit any further offences.

Katie had been taken to hospital after the crash but managed to escape without serious injury after overturning her vehicle.

Her suspension from driving had been due to end in December after being banned for 18 months for previous offences.
