The record-breaking DSF Drone Light Show returns to Dubai Shopping Festival. Best of all, it’s free to attend. The unforgettable visual experience returns for its third season and will showcase the DSF drones at their mesmerizing best against the impressive coastline backdrops of Bluewaters and The Beach.

DSF Fireworks Nights

Dubai Lights Exhibition

Illuminating art takes centre stage with Dubai Lights back again for another exhibition of bewitching light installations by international artists, designers, architects, and studios. Each unique piece has previously been featured in the world-renowned Amsterdam Light Festival.

Quoz Arts Fest

Art lovers are also in for a treat in January with the returning Quoz Arts Fest celebrating its tenth edition with a series of live entertainment, gallery openings, and movie marathons, all available to enjoy for free.

Market Outside The Box

Take advantage of the cooler weather in Dubai with a trip to one of the many outdoor markets popping up across the city. There’s no better place to start than DSF’s flagship outdoor market, MOTB. Stay ahead of the trendsetters with a new line-up of vendors bringing all the styles direct to you. With food trucks and live shows on stage make a day of it with a picnic in the park.

Fontana Circus

Or head to Vibes by the Bay at Festival Plaza, Dubai Festival City Mall featuring an array of Instagrammable offerings including a must-see aquatic experience performed by the Fontana Circus – the first travelling water circus in the Middle East.

TunesDXB

Experience even more live music throughout the city with TunesDXB. Free to attend these live shows are set to feature Emirati talents as well as busker-style live music from artists across musician genres.

Performing Arts of Dubai

For shows on the go don’t miss the Performing Arts of Dubai. Catch a variety of fresh acts with a mix of music, theatre, comedy, and unique talents marching around in shopping and leisure destinations throughout DSF.

Theatre

It’s never too early to get excited about the festive season and without The Nutcracker, the holiday season wouldn’t be the same. Watch it performed by the legendary Moscow ballet “La Classique” at Dubai Opera this December or treat your loved ones to a festive frozen tale The Snow Queen at Theatre by QE2. Don’t miss Elf the musical, produced by Olivier Award-winning producer Paul Taylor-Mills and for even more fairy tales head to Fairmont The Palm to join in the whimsy with Rapunzel, performed by The Dubai Panto.

New Year’s Eve Celebrations

From dazzling fireworks to picnicking on the beach, wherever you go in Dubai, you’re in for a fabulous welcome to 2023. DSF always hosts brilliant fireworks displays on New Year’s Eve and this year is no different with plenty of hotspots to watch the shows to be announced soon.

Yacht parties, DJ nights and gala dinners are just some of the experiences to try including one with the Princess of Pop Kylie Minogue at Atlantis, The Palm.
