DXB LIVE, the integrated event management and experiential agency of Dubai World Trade Centre, confirmed the expansion of venue for the World of Coffee Exhibition 2023 (WOC), owing to the increased levels of participation from the global, regional, and local coffee community seeking to reserve spaces and locations to set up pavilions. In the first week of the sale of exhibition spaces and locations, around 800 organisations and businesses from 27 different countries registered, indicating that reserved spaces already surpassed the exhibition’s debut edition.

The countries participating include Brazil, Bolivia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Indonesia, India, Italy, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Romania, Ukraine, UK, USA, Philippines, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Sweden, Jordan, Oman, Czech, Belgium, China, Switzerland, Singapore, and the UAE. The World of Coffee Exhibition 2023, organised by DXB LIVE, in collaboration with Specialty Coffee Association, will be held between January 11 and 13, 2023, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Special Importance

The second edition of WOC holds special significance following the tremendous success achieved by its first edition, which increased its popularity leading to the organising of the second edition once again in Dubai. Numerous countries will be participating in the event, due to relaxation of travel restrictions across the globe, with prominent experts, industry leaders and coffee enthusiasts attending the event. Companies, traders, farmers, as well as public and private entities are making constant efforts to recover from the two-year setback that the international trade experienced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions in place at the time. As a significant number of worldwide firms and nations are participating in the event through national pavilions, it is anticipated that the number of companies and brands participating in this edition will surpass that of the first edition.

The World of Coffee Exhibition 2023, which is sponsored by Simonelli Group, Eureka, Boncafe, Anacafe, representing Guatemala country,  and Culligan Middle East, is a global annual forum for leaders and experts in the coffee industry. The event aims to connect farmers, merchants, roasters, manufacturers, distributors, baristas, SMEs, café owners, hotels, and coffee lovers and connoisseurs from around the world.

The previous editions of the exhibition were hosted by various European and American cities, including Budapest in 2017, Amsterdam in 2018, Seattle in 2018, Berlin in 2019, Boston in 2019, New Orleans in 2020, Warsaw in 2021, Milan in 2022, and finally in Melbourne Australia.
