The valuable trophy is anticipated to arrive in Lahore on a brief two-day visit and will remain in the nation till September 6, according to individuals familiar with the event.
Initially, a five-day visit of Pakistan was planned for the ICC World Cup 2023 trophy from July 31 to August 4. However, because of the uncertainty surrounding Pakistan’s participation in the tournament, the visit was postponed.
The elusive trophy is anticipated to visit historical sites, as well as malls and educational facilities, during its brief stay.
On October 5, the ICC World Cup 2023 is set to begin in India, with ten countries fighting for the valued trophy.
It is important to note that Pakistan’s government last month officially gave the Green Shirts the “all clear” to visit India for the ICC World Cup 2023.
After India declined to tour Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023 owing to security concerns, there was uncertainty around Pakistan’s visit to the neighboring country for the World Cup. The debate over Pakistan’s visit to India for the event lasted for several months and began last year.
