The 19th edition of the Dubai International Wood and Woodworking Machinery Exhibition is set to commence on Tuesday at the Dubai World Trade Centre to showcase the most innovative products, technologies, production scenarios, and large-scale machinery to wood industry key players and participating representatives of government agencies from the region.

The Dubai WoodShow, the only dedicated trade platform for the wood and woodworking machinery industry in MENA, brings together approximately 10,000 visitors and 400 exhibitors from more than 60 countries worldwide during its three-day run.

The show offers a dynamic venue for local and international suppliers, manufacturers, and machinery companies to exchange expertise, knowledge, and experiences to support collaborative opportunities and attract investments for the further growth of the wood and woodworking industry.

The exhibition will showcase woodworking products and specialised machines such as panel saws, grooving tools, and other high-quality cutting materials, in a bid to help manufacturers keep pace with the newest developments in the industry through holding a conference, B2B meetings/matchmaking, seminars, and networking sessions.

The main conference will discuss various topics, including protecting and preserving wood against biodegradation, digitalisation in the wood industry, key timber production and timber market trends, opportunities and challenges for international trade, and the logistical impact of import and export on the distribution of wood products.

The second day of the exhibition will witness the announcement of winners of the WoodShow Innovation and Excellence Awards, organised on the sidelines of the exhibition and aims to recognise the outstanding innovations, craftsmanship and achievements in the wood industry as well as to encourage positive competition within the industry.

There will be two main award categories – Corporate Awards and Individual Awards.
