Dubai hosted today the 8th annual conference of the Emirates Society of Neurological Surgeons (ESNS) under the theme ‘’Bridging the gap between low/middle and high income countries in neurosurgery”.
Abdulla Bin Souqat, Executive Director at Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, opened the three-day conference which provides a platform for exchange and sharing experience on the latest clinical updates in neurosurgical treatment, neuroscience and neurosurgery.
Featuring 200 participants, the conference’s plenary sessions focus on challenges of neurosurgery in low resources countries, trauma management in low and high income countries and challenges in neurosurgical research and training in low resources settings.
Meanwhile, the third day of the conference will focus on paediatric neurosurgery.
