Inter Milan have placed a £50million price tag on Alessandro Bastoni, amid interest from Manchester United and Tottenham.
The defender, who already has 14 caps for Italy at the age of 23, is a target for both Erik ten Hag and Antonio Conte.
Conte worked with Bastoni during his time at Inter, making the defender a regular feature of his starting XI in the 2019/20 season when he guided the Italians to the Scudetto.
Bastoni was once again an influential force for Inter last season, appearing 44 times for the club as they finished runners-up to rivals AC Milan.
Though Inter would prefer to keep Bastoni, the Italians are considering cashing in on one of their prized assets in order to finance a move for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Blues are seeking close to £90m for the Belgian, who left the San Siro for Stamford Bridge less than 12 months ago.
The Daily Mail say Inter will therefore accept bids in the region of £50m for Bastoni in order to bolster their transfer budget.
Spurs would appear the more realistic destination for Bastoni, given his pre-existing relationship with Conte and the fact that Spurs can offer him Champions League football.
Tottenham have already signed Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster this summer and Conte wants up to six signings to bolster his squad.
