Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans has opened the door to a summer move, insisting a transfer from the King Power Stadium is ‘not out of the question’.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham have both expressed interest in signing the Belgium international, who has made more than 150 appearances for Leicester and helped the Foxes win the FA Cup in 2021.

Tielemans is a key member of Brendan Rodgers’ squad but is expected to be offloaded this summer as he enters the final year of his contract.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has identified the 25-year-old as a target as he looks to bolster his midfield options, while Antonio Conte is looking to strengthen his squad ahead of Tottenham’s return to the Champions League.

Tielemans addressed the speculation over his future on Tuesday ahead of Belgium’s Nations League clash with Poland and insisted he was willing to ‘listen to other other opportunities’.

Asked if he could leave Leicester City this summer, Tielemans said: ‘That is not out of the question.

‘I feel very good at Leicester, I was welcomed with open arms from day one. I give everything for the club until the last day.

‘But of course you have to listen to other opportunities, you have to look at your career, and sometimes you have to make choices. Maybe one will come my way.’

Leicester City spent £32m to sign Tielemans from Monaco in 2019 and will hope to recoup that sum if they sell the midfielder this summer.

Earlier this week, former England striker and Arsenal fan Darren Bent advised Tielemans to join Arteta’s squad at the Emirates.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Bent said: ‘If he was to leave, I would like him to come to Arsenal. I really like him, Youri Tielemans.

‘I think he is a very good player, he starts in that Belgium team as well. He has got good quality to him. I think he fits in at Arsenal nicely, I really do.’
