Gabriel Jesus has suggested he could make a final decision over his club future next week.

The Manchester City forward is reportedly ready to leave the Premier League champions for Arsenal.

While a reliable option for Pep Guardiola, the Brazil international is said to be keen to secure greater first-team chances for himself having started just 21 league games last season. The arrival of Erling Haaland at the Etihad is likely to limit his opportunities further.

While Arsenal missed out on Champions League qualification last season, Jesus is reportedly still keen to reunite with former City assistant Mikel Arteta this summer.

Speaking after he scored for Brazil against South Korea in a 5-1 win, Jesus suggested a decision could be imminent.

‘I’m looking to see what’s best for me and above all, for my career. From Tuesday, we’ll see what is the best.’

Tottenham are rivalling the Gunners for Jesus’ signature with Antonio Conte’s side able to offer Champions League football next season.

But reports suggest the 25-year-old is keen to work under Arteta and ready to sacrifice at least one season of Champions League football.

Jesus has been reliable option under Guardiola since his move to the Etihad in 2016, scoring 95 goals in 236 appearances. He contributed 13 goals and 12 assists in 41 games last season.
