Two times German Hockey Olympic Gold medalist Oliver Korn and CEO Adidas Hockey Christian Cohors visited Khawaja Junaid Hockey Academy at National Hockey Stadium Lahore. Director of operations Academy Junaid chattha welcomed him. Both were introduced with the players and coaches of the academy and they made photographs with these hockey loving kids. Oliver Korn was very much impressed to meet and watch their skills at a very early age.” Pakistani people are very much sports loving and amazed to see the great hockey talent of the young boys and girls, I really missed playing hockey in this beautiful hockey-loving country and in this world biggest hockey stadium. I wished to see Pakistan hockey back at the top level, Oliver Korn Said.
Christian Cohors believes that Pakistan’s young players have tremendous talent in hockey. I still remember the crowd in this world’s biggest hockey stadium during in 1992 champions trophy and in 2004 champions trophy. The international hockey community really wants to play in Pakistan and wishes to see Pakistan hockey back on the top hockey nations.
