Lorraine Kelly was not buying Kim Kardashian’s latest apology, which saw the reality TV star addressing her infamous ’get your ass up and work’ remark.

While promoting the upcoming Kardashians series – which is set to air on April 14 – the Skims creator, 41, offered a controversial perspective on women in business.

In a candid chat with Variety, the reality star passionately urged women to ‘get your f**king ass up and work’.

She said: ‘It seems like nobody wants to work these days.’

Naturally, her words of wisdom didn’t go down well, with fans branding her outlook as ‘tone-deaf and offensive’.

Addressing the backlash on Good Morning America, Kim stressed that her comments were ‘taken out of context,’ and apologised for the way it was received.

During her final segment on Tuesday’s show, the 62-year-old presenter watched the clip of the media personality stressing that her words weren’t a ‘blanket statement towards women.’

Which resulted in an unsympathetic Lorraine hitting back with: ‘Whatever.’

Short and sweet.

The mum-of-four’s wild rise to worldwide fame was captured for the cameras as part of her reality program, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which came to an end last year.

After she filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West, Kim’s relationship with comedian Pete Davidson has become a hot topic of conversation, and fans are hoping the star will reveal all in the new reality show.

In the first trailer, we were given a behind-the-scenes look at some of the biggest moments the famous family have experienced, both good and bad.

The brief clip also saw Kim make light of her failed marriages – including her divorce to Ye – in a quip over sister Kourtney Kardashian’s engagement to Travis Barker.

The ‘complicated’ relationship between Khloé Kardashian and NBA star Tristan Thompson will also be explored after a paternity test revealed the athlete fathered a child with Maralee Nichols.

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
