The investigation into the Walking Dead actor Moses J Moseley ‘could not be determined’, according to his death certificate.

The actor, who starred as Mike in the apocalyptic horror, died aged 31, after he was found dead in Georgia in February, 2022.

In a recent report obtained by TMZ, Moseley’s immediate cause of death was a ‘gunshot wound,’ but it ‘could not be determined’ if it was intentional or an accident.

Police had been investigating Moseley’s death as a possible suicide after his body was found last month, but his family believes he did not take his own life

Henry County Police Captain Randy Lee told TMZ: ‘It is being investigated as a possible suicide, however, detectives are following any and all available avenues and not ruling anything out.’

His sister, Teerea Kimbro, revealed the gun that was found belonged to her, which Moseley had a license to carry, and that police are looking at whether there may be foul play involved in his death.

Kimbro also shared the heartwarming letter the family received from President Joe Biden, who offered his condolences.

Moseley’s manager Tabatha Minchew told People in a statement: ‘He was loved by everyone who met him. Such a bright light in everyone’s eyes.

‘Moses was an amazing person and if you had the opportunity to meet him he would have made your day amazing.

‘He was very talented, he was a great friend, the kind you could call for anything.

‘He was always excited about life and working in the entertainment business.’

A memorial service was held for him in his hometown in South Carolina.

The late star also had roles in Queen Of The South, Watchmen and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
