Millie Bobby Brown made her red carpet debut with boyfriend Jake Bongiovi at the Baftas, with the rock star offspring not missing the opportunity to make a political statement.

Stranger Things star Millie, 18, and Jake, 19, both dressed in chic black outfits for the occasion and looked nothing short of sensational at the awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday.

While Millie had a gothic edge to her outfit, Jake – the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi – remained classic with a large bow tie, adorning his outfit with a Ukraine-flag pin, showing his support for the besieged country as it suffers an ongoing invasion by Russia.

Millie made a statement in a glowing black dress complete with intricate lace detailing down the long skirt, a plunging neckline, a crop top, a short peplum and patterned lace tights.

The actress wore her hair slicked back in a neat bun, with gothic accessories, long black gloves and black platform heels.

The Stranger Things star went Instagram official with Jake in November 2021.

Since then, they’ve been dipping in and out of social media sharing their romance with their millions of fans, with Millie looking every inch the starlet having glammed up for her 18th birthday party last month, sharing a slew of new images to her Instagram account featuring herself dressed as Barbie, and Jake as Ken.

Jake shared the same snap at the time, writing on Instagram: ‘Happy birthday barbie ily <3.’

The loved-up young couple was among the many stars at the glitzy event, one of the highlights of the film industry calendar.

The nominations for the Baftas were announced last month, with Dune, The Power of the Dog, and Belfast all scooping nods.

It looks set to be a competitive evening in the acting categories, with Lady Gaga, Caitriona Balfe and Benedict Cumberbatch all battling it out for top gongs.

All of the performers in the supporting actor categories are first-time nominees, with 19 of the 24 nominees up for acting accolades earning their spot on the shortlist for the first time.
