Billionaire Kim Kardashian has been slammed by a host of celebrities, notably Piers Morgan (of course), for a ‘hot take’ in which she advised women in business to ‘get your f***ing ass up and work’.

In response, many have shared their distaste for her sentiment, with former Good Morning Britain star Piers, 56, reigniting his long-running feud with the 41-year-old business mogul to take aim at her 2007 sex tape.

Piers didn’t hold back in his criticism, tweeting: ‘Says the woman who built her whole career off a sex tape. 🙄’

The pair have been in a tit-for-tat since 2016, when Piers taunted Kim for some scantily-clad pics.

In 2019, Piers again ripped into the mogul, calling her a ‘talentless half-wit’ after she was laughed off stage at the Grammy’s, and in 2020, when she became a billionaire, he again repeated the ‘talentless’ jibe.

However, Piers wasn’t the only one to take issue with Kim’s stance.

Actress and activist Jameela Jamil also added to the wide condemnation, sharing in a tweet and Instagram post: ‘I think if you grew up in Beverly Hills with super successful parents in what was simply a smaller mansion… nobody needs to hear your thoughts on success/work ethic.

‘This same 24 hours in the day shit is a nightmare. 99.9% of the world grew up with a VERY different 24 hours.’

The Good Place star then bulked out her critique with an Instagram post, in which she said: ‘Not the day after IWD… They are a super impressive family of businesswomen and are products of a ridiculously good start and a genius manager in their mother as well as their own hard work and personal sacrifices.

‘Plus a LOT of photoshop and a decision to not care about misleading people about their beauty claims whilst never disclosing how much secret work goes into their appearances… that they make most of their money from. And a huge amount of money made from questionable diet/detox products and corsets.

‘They shouldn’t be asked about their secret to success. They shouldn’t answer those questions. It’s all obvious to everyone, and I hope nobody holds themselves to the standards of people who were raised by millionaires.

‘Just take the money, use it for good and chill the f**k out when lecturing others about grind and hustle. And learn how to brag without putting others down who have less.’

Broadcaster and journalist Soledad O’Brien simply added: ‘Also: be born rich. Really helps.’

Even Kim’s own sister Kourtney couldn’t resist a dig. Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared a throwback clip of herself revealing that she was feeling somewhat work shy, after she was called out for supporting Kim’s comment in the interview.

Kourtney reposted the old Keeping Up With The Kardashians clip, juxtaposed with the Variety interview from the Instagram account notskinnybutnotfat.

In the older clip, she says: ‘Like, working is not my top priority, it’s never going to be.’

Kim has been hustling hard for decades alongside her famous family, forging a successful beauty line and Skims bodywear brand.

In a recent interview for Variety, alongside her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, and mum Kris Jenner, Kim shared her business tips.

‘I have the best advice for women in business,’ she said. ‘Get your f***ing ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days.’

In the candid interview ahead of the release of her new show The Kardashians, which will hit screens April 15, the reality star also hit back at the notion she’s just famous for being famous.

Of the comments, she said: ‘Who gives a f**k. We focus on the positive. We work our asses off. If that’s what you think, then sorry.

‘We just don’t have the energy for that. We don’t have to sing or dance or act; we get to live our lives – and hey, we made it. I don’t know what to tell you.

‘With all respect, and with love, I’m not, like, being a b***h.’

The comments come just weeks after Love Island star Molly Mae-Hague faced a backlash for her ‘privileged’ thoughts on success after she said ‘we all have the same 24 hours in a day’.

The reality star has seen huge success in recent years, after she became Creative Director of Pretty Little Thing as well as forging a successful career as an influencer.
