Love Island’s Jessica Shears and Dom Lever have announced they are expecting their second child.

The reality stars, who found love in the third series of the ITV2 dating show, tied the knot in October 2018 and welcomed their baby boy a year later.

The couple confirmed the news of their second arrival on Instagram.

Dom posted a cute clip of Jess’ pregnancy journey so far and wrote: ‘Our family is growing.’

The expectant mum uploaded a snap of her holding her son over her baby bump and wrote: ‘Another one to love 🤍👼🏽 baby boy no.2 due in June.’

Fellow islanders have been sharing their congratulations for the pair, with Chloe Crowhurst writing: ‘Another baby boy! Awww so special, congratulations beautiful.’

Marcel Somerville added: ‘Congratulations my brother.’

The duo, who are one of Love Island’s success stories, got engaged three months after leaving the hit series in 2017, and they have stayed strong ever since.

Following the birth of her firstborn, Jess faced criticism online after she shared a video of herself at the gym.

Trolls took to the comments to ask why she was back in the gym just days after sharing the news she had given birth in a judgmental tirade.

Jess hit back with a post asking people to turn their attention elsewhere.

‘Can people stop assuming they know anything about the birth of our child,’ she wrote.

‘Just because we chose to share an image yesterday doesn’t mean that’s when they were born.’

The new mum added: ‘Dom, baby and I are happy, healthy and recovering at our own rate.’

Jess and Dom aren’t the only reality stars expecting baby number two, as Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt also announced in December 2021 that their second bundle of joy will arrive in June this year, with the gender of the baby kept secret for the time being.

Love Island will return to ITV2 this summer.
