KARACHI: 805 new dengue cases have been reported across Sindh in the month of November, confirmed the data from health department data on Monday.
Karachi has reported 507 dengue cases, which is the maximum number of cases across Sindh, confirmed the health department.
Whereas, 134 severe fever cases affected by dengue mosquitoes, have been reported in the district east of Karachi trails, and Korangi with 124 cases. Malir registered 41 of the cases, while the south district stood for 74 of them, stated the health department list.
Distinctly, Hyderabad registered 144 dengue reported cases.
However, the dengue fever cases has started to drop in Punjab, with 103 new cases reported of mosquito-borne viral infection in past 24 hours.
The province has reported 21,507 dengue fever cases, out of which 15,732 were reported in Lahore only. Furthermore, 93 people have died in the battle against a viral infection, claimed the secretary of primary and secondary health Punjab.
In the interim, Secretary Specialized Health Care, Dr Ahmed Javed said that the percentage of dengue cases is reducing down in Lahore and added that 1,257 beds devoted for dengue fever patients at the government hospitals of Lahore are available.
