Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria has continued to remain active on social media amid the ongoing fallout following her husband’s accidental shooting of Halyna Hutchins.
The 63-year-old actor discharged a gun on the Rust movie set last month, which led to the death of the 42-year-old cinematographer and injuring director Joel Souza.
Sunday saw the mother-of-six Hilaria share a slideshow of images on Instagram in which her children could be seen playing together and being cuddled by their parents.
The 37-year-old wrote in the caption: ‘Check in. Spending lots of time together. Grateful for these kids. Grateful for you 💕’
The podcast host had shared a similar update the week before as she gave fans a look into the couple’s family time amid backlash from critics and followers.
The pair share daughters Carmen Gabriela, eight, and María Lucía Victoria, eight months, and sons Rafael Thomas, six, Leonardo Ángel Charles, five, Romeo Alejandro David, three, and Eduardo ‘Edu’ Pao Lucas, 13 months.
Hilaria’s updates come after she faced criticism for sharing a picture of the Baldwin family – including Alec – dressed up in Halloween costumes just weeks after the fatal shooting of Hutchins.
At the time Hilaria revealed that the couple had ‘rallied’ to give their kids a holiday after the ‘intense’ time, revealing that her kids’ happiness ‘warmed my mama heart.’
Meanwhile, the Boss Baby star and members of the crew and production team on Rust are being sued by Serge Svetnoy for ‘severe emotional distress’ after the tragic incident.
Svetnoy had been inside the church set when Hutchins was accidentally shot with a live round and had cradled his dying friend for over 20 mins until the ambulance arrived.
The electrician, who had been standing just feet away from Baldwin when the prop gun fired, was also hit with bullet fragments.
His lawsuit is the first one filed since the tragedy took place on October 21, with the filing alleging that as the scene was a rehearsal, Baldwin did not need to pull the trigger.
Baldwin previously opened up about Hutchins being his ‘friend’ when spoke on camera for the first time since the shooting.
The actor then shared a tweet from his now-locked account Twitter account on Instagram, calling for police officers to be hired for any set that requires a prop gun.
