ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed chairman and members of the Sindh Public Service Commission to continue working till a verdict on their appeals is issued.

The apex court accepted the petition against the annulment of appointment of chairman and members of Sindh Public Service Commission. The officers and employees had lost their jobs due to a court decision.

During hearing Advocate Geneal Sindh told that top court that Sindh High Court declared the Public Service Commission Act unconstitutional and has also annulled all the recruitments.

He further told that the court decision stopped the recruitment process of 1,000 medical officers.
