Love Island star Faye Winter is taking the plunge by getting her lip fillers dissolved for the first time in years and, it’s safe to say, she was a little nervous about it.

The reality TV star, who found love with Teddy Soares in the villa, explained to fans that a challenge she took part in during the ITV2 dating series left her lips lumpy and uneven.

In her Instagram stories on Monday, Faye said: ‘So today is a very exciting day. I don’t know if it’s exciting or terrifying, but I’m going to get my lips dissolved and have natural lips.

‘As you’re aware one side is bigger than the other and that happened due to a lovely challenge in the villa.’

Pointing out the problematic areas, Faye continued: ‘And I’ve got the lump up underneath from it now which I’ve never had it before.

‘It’s not anyone’s fault or any practitioner’s fault prior, it is purely because of the challenge and you can see that there it’s bigger as well.’

However, Faye won’t be going au naturel for too long as she then revealed: ‘So I’m going to go get them all dissolved. Have my natural lips, which I’ve not seen for years and then have them refilled next week.’

The 26-year-old will be (temporarily) following in the footsteps of fellow Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague, who dissolved her own lip fillers last year in favour of the natural look. The influencer, 22, wanted to be an example for young women to ‘stop normalising’ fillers.

In a YouTube video documenting the filler removal, Molly-Mae revealed she probably had about five millilitres of filler over the years, having first had it done when she was just 17.

Although her lips were still slightly swollen due to the procedure, Molly was over the moon with her more natural pout, saying: ‘I’m home guys and wow, wow, wow, my lips. They’re not there anymore, they’re gone!

‘Nothing in there, they were rock solid, look how liney they are now with no filler. I’m weirdly happy about it, I don’t know how to feel, I’ve gone back to 15-year-old me again.’
