Strictly Come Dancing 2021 has released the mic recordings from Saturday’s show – and it’s revealed a bizarre comment from Tilly Ramsay’s dance partner Nikita Kuzmin.

The audio showed that Nikita turned to the 19-year-old after their routine and said he ‘got an aggressive rub’ after an exhaustive performance.

We’ll take your word for it Nikita…

The ‘aggressive rub’ sounds pretty painful, but it was worth it after Tilly and Nikita performed a stunning Foxtrot to Little Things by One Direction.

They received a 36 from the judges – a nine from Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke.

It was an important dance for Tilly, after she was also forced to speak out after comments made by LBC’s Steve Allen.

Steve branded her ‘a chubby little thing’ as he criticised her performance on the BBC competition show.

The other audio released from the programme saw John Whaite ask Johannes Radebe ‘What’s wrong with my cakes? You cheeky thing!’ during their fun routine.

‘‘Yes, partner! That’s the one! Come on! So proud of you!’ a delighted Aljaz Skorjanec tells Sarah Davies after their performance.

The new clip also revealed the dialogue between deaf contestant Rose Ayling-Ellis and dance partner Giovanni Pernice, who spoke via sign language at the beginning of their routine.

The pair performed an incredible dramatic Viennese Waltz to Fallin’ by Alicia Keys, telling the story of a couple in a tumultuous relationship.

‘Where have you been? You’ve been ages!’ Rose said at the start of their performance.

‘I don’t want to talk about it now. I’m too tired,’ he replied.

‘Me and you have broken up. I’m leaving,’ she hit back.

‘Rose, stop. Relax, let’s have a chat. I’m so sorry.’

The routine had fans glued to their screens as they incorporated sign language into their dance, with Rose hoping to make the show more accessible for deaf viewers.

Strictly Come Dancing continues at 7.15pm on BBC One.
