Indian food delivery company Zomato’s was left red-faced after it attempted to trol the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ahead of Pakistan’s clash against India.
Zomato had taken a dig at Pakistani skipper Babar Azam and PCB by using phrases from Momin Saqib’s viral video.
The video had gone viral after Pakistan lost its World Cup match to India in 2019.
“Dear PCB, in case you’re looking for burger or pizze tonight, we’re just a DM away,” Zomato quoted Saqib with a winking face emoji.

However, ride hailing app Careem’s Twitter page for Pakistani customers was having none of that.
The app took a jibe at Zomato by offering some ‘fantastic tea’.
“Don’t worry we are delivering free burgers and pizze to them tomorrow. And some ‘fantastic tea’ for you?” said Careem Pakistan.

The fantastic tea phrase became popular in 2019 after an interrogation video of the captured Indian wing commander Abhinandhan praising a Pakistani major for the tea offered to him.
Cricket fans are super enthusiastic about today’s face-off at the Dubai International Stadium. The match will start at 7:00pm (PST).
