Greg Wise was the third contestant to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night, however former professional James Jordan blames Karen Hauer’s ‘choreography’ for their downfall.

The 55-year-old actor, who was partnered with professional dancer Karen, was sent home after performing their Samba to Macarena by Los Del Rio for the second time in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.

The couple’s routine was packed with some signature Macarena moves and, while Greg looked like he had the time of his life, the judges weren’t that impressed and scored the pair 19 out of 40, placing them at the bottom of the leaderboard.

However, Dancing On Ice winner James, who’s notoriously known for his outspoken nature and weekly commentary of the hit dance show, took aim at Karen and said he would only give a partner a song and dance like that if ‘he didn’t like them’.

James tweeted: ‘If I really didn’t like my celebrity I would choose that music and give that choreography.

‘Not only that he made so many mistakes…. It was one of the worst sambas I’ve ever seen – I didn’t even like the costume.’

Greg and Karen found themselves in the dance-off against comedian Judi Love and partner Graziano Di Prima in Sunday night’s show.

Craig Revel HorwoodMotsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke all decided to save Judi, meaning the Loose Women star had the majority vote. However, head Judge Shirley Ballas said she would have decided to save Greg and Karen.

When asked by presenter Tess Daly about their time on the show, Greg beamed: ‘I have had an amazing time, I feel unbelievably privileged and thank you all for having me.’

Karen was then asked if she had any words for her partner, to which she exclaimed: ‘It has been a blast, thank you for the amazing lunches, thanks for the quality of work, and for being an amazing student. I have enjoyed our moments in the classroom, and just having fun with you, I’ve really enjoyed it.’

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7.05pm on BBC One.
