WWE superstar Harland has debuted on NXT 2.0 and totally changed his look as he appeared with a shaved head.

The imposing wrestler, whose real name is Parker Boudreaux, has undergone a name change as well as an image overhaul as made his first appearance on the developmental brand and teased an interaction with Joe Gacy during Tuesday night’s show.

The ‘englightened’ Gacy made quick work of Ikemen Jiro as he put his opponent away with a handspring clothesline.

As he was leaving, he looked surprised to see a mysterious bald man – Harland himself – looking down from the bleachers as he stood near the fans.

Gacy started to smile and the intimidating figure, who didn’t break his gaze as he glared him down, and it’ll be interesting to see where things go from here.

It’s a smart move to give Harland a shake-up, as he already had high expectations place on him partly due to his resemblance to Brock Lesnar, which puts a lot of pressure on a rookie.

Back to Gacy, the rising star also confronted Tommaso Ciampa backstage and asked for a title shot.

The NXT Champion had a proposition, and they’ll face next week – if Gacy wins, he gets added to the Halloween Havoc match already involving Bron Breakker.

Elsewhere on the show this week, Mandy Rose pinned Ember Moon, Andre Chase cost Odyssey Jones the win against LA Knight, and Cora Jade scored a shock victory over Franky Monet in her debut.

We also saw Pete Dunne beat Cameron Grimes, while Tony D’Angelo defeated Malik Blade as the crowd got behind the Chicago native, and Indi Hartwell beat Mei Ying.

In the main event, MSK retained the NXT Tag Team Titles over Grizzled Young Veterans, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, and Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen.

The new era of NXT 2.0 is gathering pace and finding its footing now, with the fresh roster taking shape – it’ll be interesting to see how things go from here, particularly with Halloween Havoc on the horizon.

*WWE NXT 2.0 airs Tuesday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
