Christine Quinn has spoken about her ‘very traumatic’ labour with first son Christian in May, revealing that she walked into hospital while ‘10cm dilated’.

The Selling Sunset star delivered her son safely but had to endure an emergency C-section and upsetting birth.

Speaking to MailOnline, the 32-year-old revealed: ‘My body knew I was in labour and my doctor said no, sure enough my water broke and I was in a very traumatic position where I walked into the hospital and I was 10cm dilated.’

Christine chose to have an emergency C-section without an epidural and welcomed her son, with retired tech entrepreneur husband Christian Richard, just 22 minutes later.

Now she’s a mother, the reality TV star is, quite happily, less involved with the partying scene that surrounds Selling Sunset and says that motherhood ‘has been amazing’.

Proclaiming that she ‘hates leaving’ her son and wants to ‘be with my baby all time’, the Texan has prepared viewers for a change in her as portrayed on the fourth season of the Netflix show.

‘I don’t care about [their] problems and not being invited to parties, that’s the least of my issues,’ the upcoming How to be a Boss B*tch author stated.

Co-star Mary Fitzgerald recently revealed in an exclusive chat with Metro.co.uk that Christine has not been invited to colleague Heather Rae Young’s wedding to Tarek El-Moussa.

Teasing the drama of the upcoming season, Mary continued: ‘Yeah, things have happened, and I mean we are professional and cordial at the office, but outside of the office, most people don’t choose to associate with her.’

Season four filming on Selling Sunset wrapped filming in July, with shooting already underway for season five.

Speaking of new cast additions to MailOnline, Christine revealed that ‘the dynamic has changed’ as the cast is no longer as small or ‘as tight knit’.

She explained: ‘We’re bringing new characters into the mix – it’s a big, big family now, it’s going to be different and I really love two new girls.’
