Friends star Jennifer Aniston has said ‘it’s time’ for her to find love again.

The Morning Show star, 52, split from ex-husband Justin Theroux in 2017 and was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005.

The actress, who recently described this year’s Friends reunion as ‘a sucker punch to the heart’, has now revealed she is ready to resume dating, although there’s no one special in her life at the moment.

‘No-one of importance has hit my radar yet but I think it’s time.

‘I think I’m ready to share myself with another,’ the actress said on the Lunch With Bruce podcast.

Jennifer revealed that she had been in relationships for the best part of 30 years, and so enjoyed spending time on her own.

She shared: ‘I didn’t want to for a long time, and I loved really being my own woman without being a part of a couple.

‘I’ve been a part of a couple since I was 20 so there was something really nice about taking the time.’

However, before any LA guys get their phones out in the hopes of matching with her, the Rachel Green actress has ruled out dating apps such as Tinder or the celebrity platform Raya because she is ‘an old-school girl’.

Discussing the importance of chemistry when first encountering a possible partner, the star also said that it was ‘weird’ that ‘people don’t come up to people anymore’.

Jennifer also gave potential partners some tips in what she looks for in a significant other.

While she believes a first kiss is ‘pretty important’, the actress also listed other key aspects, in her eyes, of a successful first meeting.

As well as ‘the ease at which the conversation flows the first time’, she added: ‘Confidence, but not a cockiness. Humour, please, I beg of you, I beg of you. Generous, kind to people…’

She then laughingly added: ‘You know… very few necessities required!’

As a famously health-conscious person, Jennifer also indicated that fitness was important to her in a relationship, not just because of looks but because she wants ‘to be around here for a long time and not be in a wheelchair when I’m 80’.

The LolaVie founder caused quite the stir earlier this year when she and Friends co-star David Schwimmer admitted to harbouring crushes on one another during their time working together on the hit TV show.

However, Jennifer recently shut down ‘bizarre’ rumours of a relationship between the pair now – while they’re both single – saying of the Ross actor: ‘That’s my brother.’
