Strictly It Takes Two saw the return of beloved presenter Rylan Clark-Neal for the first episode of the new series and fans couldn’t get enough.

The 32-year-old presenter looked suave in a crisp white shirt and black trousers, as he took his rightful place presenting Strictly’s daily spinoff show alongside Janette Manrara.

Rylan has had an emotional year after news of his split from husband Dan Neal came to light, which saw the star step away from his work commitments.

Fans rushed to Twitter to celebrate Rylan’s return on It Takes Two on Monday night following his break.

One user said: ‘Just caught up with It Takes Two and now sat here with the biggest smile, it’s so lovely to see you back on my TV screen hun!’

While another joined in saying: ‘Love it takes two, so happy it’s back already, loving Janette and soo happy Rylan is back as well missed him on tv.’

Co-host and former Strictly professional Janette also received enthusiastic support from viewers and praised her bubbly interaction with the contestants.

It was announced in June that Janette would no longer be taking part in the competition, and anounced her new gig as presnter on It Takes Two, replacing Zoe Ball.

Monday’s show had contestants John Whaite and partner Johannes Radebe, AJ Odudu and partner Kai Widdrington, Robert Webb and partner Dianne Buswell, talk to Rylan and Janette about Saturday night’s performances.

Rylan took a step back from work commitments, including a break from his radio programme and dropping out of covering the Eurovision semi-finals this year.

In his comeback show he appeared in good spirits as he told Radio 2 listeners that he was ‘feeling better’.

‘It does feel good to be back and I am feeling better,’ he vowed. ’A massive thank you to Vernon, to Gary, to Oti and to Cat Deeley for keeping this seat and my little baby lovely and warm.

Strictly It Takes Two airs weekdays at 6.30pm on BBC Two, while Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7pm on BBC One
